Indaco Metals is proud to announce that both of our R-panel and Duraloc panels have qualified for Class 4 rating under the Underwriters Laboratories UL 2218 test standard "Impact Resistance of Roofing Materials". The Class 4 rating is the highest rating for which roofing material can be considered.

The UL 2218 test standard is mandated by insurance companies due to the large losses they have absorbed in recent years from hail damaged roofs. Roof coverings that pass this UL test standard are classified as either Class 1,2,3 or 4; with Class 4 being the most impact resistant. In certain areas of the country, roofs with UL rated materials can qualify for an insurance premium discount.
